Praxis, Inc is seeking Software Developer to assist in development of ground software for the Robotic Servicing of Geostationary Satellites (RSGS) payload, being developed under DARPA sponsorship at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC.
RSGS is a two-arm payload designed to grapple and perform repairs and re-boost on cooperative Geostationary satellites.
What you'll do:
- Develop command and telemetry software, models, and scripts to support normal, proximity, and coupled operations of the RSGS payload
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- Strong C/C++ and Python skills
- Java experience
- Documentation experience
- Robot Operating System (ROS) and RViz (Robot Visualization) software experience, and other robot modeling tools
- Robotics experience
- Neptune experience
- Git familiarity
US Citizenship Required:
Eligibility to Obtain a DoD Security Clearance Required for this Position:
Yes, existing Secret is required.
