SUMMARY
The Automation Equipment Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance & management of the Wafer automation equipment at the new QCELLS factory in Cartersville, GA. This includes improvements for all automation. The Automation Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Automation team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
*This position requires to receive training in South Korea for two months. Detailed information will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for tasks related to automation maintenance
- Automation machine operation rates must be kept high
- Oversee the installation of new equipment and management of related installation companies
- Handle the automation improvement project progress and management
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of automation
- Manage the inventory and usage of spare parts for equipment
- Prepare reports for scheduled meetings
- Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in electrical and mechanical engineering or related engineering fields
- Maintenance and improvement of process or logistics automation for over 3 years
- Industry experience related to mobile robots (AMR or AGV)
- Electrical and mechanical license holders
- Experience in carrying out automation improvement projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Bilingual in Chinese or Korean preferred
- The ability to understand process automation
- The ability to recognize and provide equipment failure analysis
- Automation maintenance management experience

- Project management skills
- AMR operation management and maintenance experience
- ACS operation management and maintenance experience
