We are looking for an experienced and passionate Product Manager, Software to change the energy industry. As a Product Manager, Software, you will propose exciting new products and services that will shape the future of the home. In collaboration with a wide range of global teams including Sales, Marketing, Management, and Development, you will be responsible for shipping high-quality software products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Drive the vision and strategy of launching innovative software products 
    • Management of new product proposal processes and product roadmap 
    • Lead meetings with installers and homeowners to understand current problems and emerging system-level requirements 
    • Delivering PRDs based on customer insights and requirements 
    • Applying customer insights on adding new features to current software products 
    • Drive alignment with a variety of stakeholders including executives, business operations, design, and engineering teams 
    • Help offshore development teams to understand the business value of new features 
    • Perform investment review and due diligence as a technology-centric expert to help the management team in the decision-making process of acquisitions 

REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 
    • 3 - 5 years of proven experience in product management, including developing, delivering, and executing a strong product vision 
    • Ability to create Product Requirements Documents that outline the specifications, requirements, target audience, features, and market needs for software development projects
    • Analytical thinker who works well in a global, fast-paced, data-driven, cross-functional culture 
    • Demonstrated ability and interest in providing complete energy systems to residential customers including both hardware and software solutions 
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, either nationally or internationally 
    • Must be authorized to work in the US
