Qcells is currently seeking an analyst to join our “Third Party Ownership”, or “TPO” team. The TPO Project Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting to stakeholders at all levels. He/she will be accountable for maintaining reporting structure and timelines, soliciting responses from project or team leaders and reporting non-conformance to management. The ideal candidate will be experienced with management reporting , project tracking and managing solar construction projects. Additionally, they should be highly organized and self-motivated. 
TPO is poised to be the fastest growing segment of solar due to rising interest rates and the Inflation Reduction Act. Qcells is particularly well positioned to take advantage of this market due to the domestic content tax credit adder, existing relationships with dealers, and a quality point-of-sale financing platform. The TPO team is responsible for ensuring the quality of our assets.
Key to success in this position is comfort in creation mode. This role is joining an evolving team as it moves into its permanent structure within the organization. A focus on an ability to build from scratch and iterate as improvements are realized is paramount. Residential solar, specifically TPO experience is a bonus but not required. Although a general familiarity with EPC construction is a must.
 Up to 20% travel. 

Responsibilities

    • Assists the team in all aspects of executing assigned solar projects, including Milestone submission and review, O&M onboarding, performance testing and continued asset management
    • Evaluates internal and subcontractor progress reports with an eye toward identifying, mitigating and resolving project risks 
    • Presents project progress, key findings, and recommendations To QSS management
    • Builds and presents weekly progress reports 
    • Oversee planning, execution & closing projects
    • Tracks vendor payments, submits receipts for payment, audits payment status and resolves any outstanding issues
    • Communicates with the stakeholders regarding details of projects to facilitate clear communication to the sales team  
    • Coordinates job site set-up
    • Ad hoc reporting
    • Assist with other duties as assigned 

Required Qualifications

    • 8 years experience in operational or financial analytics 
    • 8 years experience in construction or financing 
    • 8 years project management experience 
    • 6 years experience onboarding & managing partner relationships
    • 3 + years market research experience
    • 3+ years experience obtaining permits   
    • Ability to work cross-functionally  

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • PMP
$67,000 - $81,000 a year
