You will be responsible for in-house research and analysis for Qcells North America, serving as a subject matter expert for solar and other renewable energy technologies, working across Qcells diversified business. The work of the Market Intelligence and Strategy Manager will be key in guiding Qcells’ future business decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct research on U.S. solar trends, technologies, business models, market developments and financial impacts
- Present detailed findings in well written and researched reports
- Execute and deliver such research in a timely fashion
- Monitor and maintain relevant data for Qcells’ businesses
- Work closely with sales, business, development, and government relations teams to analyze market trends and identify future business opportunities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- We ask that candidates have strong knowledge of the following in solar development, independent power producers (IPP), power businesses, and electricity markets
- Bachelor's degree (graduate degree a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in research
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Strong communication, excel, presentation, and organizational skills
- Comfort with presenting and reporting findings to leadership
