Position Overview
A Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing, financial, and structural strategies supporting our partners.
Responsibilities
- Drive demand pull-through from the partner level (installers/dealers/system integrators).
- Assess the partner’s business and jointly develop successful strategies to incorporate and sell Qcells’ products and solutions in a way that positively impacts all aspects of the partner’s P&L.
- Drive Qcells’ revenue and market share at partner accounts including but not limited to negotiating supply agreements, providing product training, assisting in the development of co-marketing/demand generation campaigns, introducing new products, and managing day-to-day business issues.
- Manage a portfolio of installer partners to achieve revenue and share objectives, while acquiring new customers and fully understanding installer partners’ sales pipeline backlog, installation rate, conversion rate, cancellation rate, etc.
- Leverage distribution relationships and work closely with the distribution sales team on joint sales efforts at the installer level.
- Build market loyalty to Qcells’ brand through consistent interaction with installer executives and their salespeople; train installers’ sales directors and representatives.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly regional and account forecasts.
- Gather and report regional market and competitive intelligence in order to keep abreast of the regional market situation, policy, customer, competitor, and supplier trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as business, marketing, and/or finance preferred.
- 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience in a high-tech industry selling via indirect channels such as authorized dealers and distributors.
- Experience in the solar industry, energy industry, high technology, or conventional building trades (electrical, roofing, HVAC) is a plus.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, innovative strategic thinker with a passion for driving results, and a strong sense of personal accountability.
- Strong presentation skills, with the proven ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Proven territory planning and management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; strong computer and analytical skills; mid-level Excel skills required; CRM experience required.
- Experience negotiating and executing contracts.
- Experience working for an international organization is preferred.
- Virtual office must have easy access to a major metropolitan airport.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 50%.
$118,000 - $189,000 a year
