This is a position with the responsibility for ensuring the systems in the fleet for the Home Energy System division operate to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail, and problem solving and communication skills. This position will be based in the Q CELLS North America headquarters in Irvine, CA, and report to the Director of Field Operations. 

Responsibilities

    • Ensure all systems have an accurate solar monitoring portal created prior to installation
    • Verify all installations for accurate commissioning, including checking firmware for most up to date releases
    • Become a Subject Matter Expert on the Q Cells QHome Battery system for residential applications
    • Deep understanding of how solar systems are built, and systems are monitored, including back up loads and battery mode of use
    • Knowledge of the different types of solar finance (Cash/Loan/TPO), and the effect of installation on performance guarantees.
    • Submit approved sites into 3rd party financier sites once approved internally
    • Review operational procedures and ensure conformance to industry best-practices for installers
    • Analyze and monitor solar system performance to ensure site compliance
    • Update CRM, Fulfillment portal, third party financier portals and various other business tools

Required Qualifications

    • Total Information Technology experience for 5+ years with a minimum of 3 years in programming with Force.com (Apex, Community Cloud, Visualforce, and Lightening Web Component) and Java.
    • Extensive experience with Q2 Cloud Lending.
    • Expertise in the design of complex data models and relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
    • Experience with complex projects using Web Services integration (SOAP and REST)
    • Experience developing on the Salesforce platform & APIs.
    • Bachelor’s degree - ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
