The Team You’ll Work With
Reporting to the SVP, Head of Database Engineering, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable, secure, and compliant multi-cloud strategies that meet our current and evolving business needs as we continue to grow. In this role you will be collaborating with other infrastructure and compliance teams to optimize and secure our cloud environment and drive innovation.

The Impact You’ll Have
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on security, scalability, and operational efficiency. For this role, experience with AWS is a primary requirement and experience with GCP or Azure is highly desirable.

    • Develop a future-proof multi-cloud strategy that meets the current and evolving business requirements
    • Implement security measures to protect our data and infrastructure assets that encompasses network security, access controls, and data protection
    • Monitor regulatory landscape and industry standards regularly to ensure compliance
    • Develop or leverage tools to monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and cost to optimize resources
    • Be an effective leader and a partner to work in cross-functional teams
    • Establish effective communication with technical and non-technical members of the company
    • Utilize standard project management tools to track and report progress of cloud projects and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
    • Follow the standard quality control guidelines in delivering the project work supported by comprehensive documentation
    • Provide mentorship to junior team members and develop next generations of leaders

A Successful Match Brings:

    • 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on AWS
    • AWS SysOps Administrator certification 
    • AWS Security certification 
    • Experience in architecting cloud strategy for large cloud implementations
    • In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and practices
    • Prior experience in operating system and network administration
    • Experience in implementing end-to-end performance monitoring
    • Experience in implementing infrastructure vulnerability and threat assessment tools and help provide remediation guidance
    • Strong practitioner and advocate of automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with leadership qualities
    • CISSP, highly desirable
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Consensus builder
    • Proficiency in project management tools

$175,000 - $195,000 a year
