As a Control/Reconciliation Banking Operations Manager, you will join the Operations team. You will work closely with Antoine our Senior Lead Banking Operations, and 4 other Qontoers.
You will ensure robust Level 1 Controls, safeguarding against risks, and driving continuous improvement in our back-office reconciliation processes.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Control/Reconciliation Banking Operations Manager at Qonto, you will:
• Develop expertise in the reconciliation process, tailoring it to various payment types;
• Maintain and enhance internal control level 1 for banking operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy;
• Analyze and recapitulate control data, executing around 30 controls bi-monthly with precision;
• Proactively challenge and improve existing processes, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement;
• Collaborate with BO teams, Ops engineers, and other stakeholders to streamline operations and enforce guidelines.

• Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience related to control or reconciliation in a bank institution or Fintech.
• Mastery: You have extensive knowledge of banking operations, including transfers, direct debits, and card transactions;
• Analytical skills: your analytical skills are second to none, and you're driven by a natural curiosity to delve into data and processes;
• Curious mindset: You are intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, a fast learner, and excited by a dynamic startup environment;
• Tools: You thrive when using tools like G suite, CBS, Forest, Metabase and communicate effectively via Notion and Slack.
• Languages: You are fluent both in French and English.
