Qonto has grown a 60 Data team with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists and ML Engineers working together to deliver great tables, dashboards, insights, and data products.

The Data Product Team has 12+ Machine Learning Engineers reporting to two Leads, themselves reporting to you. Their mission is to turn data into value for our customers through automation.

- Manage the Data Products team of 12 ML engineers and 2 managers.

- Coach your team leaders and ML Engineers to maintain quality and velocity.

- Take accountability for your team delivery, with a high level of quality and on time.

- Increase efficiency and efficacy in our data product initiatives.

- Implement and improve our Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) practices, with an emphasis on anticipating and managing the model lifecycle more proactively.

- Interact with key stakeholders across various departments, to support the launch and scaling of new financial products: Risk, Fraud, Product, Finance, Onboarding to streamline data product integration, Bookkeeping and Invoicing.

- Make your team shine inside and outside Qonto, and spread a culture of continuous improvement.

The team uses Python, SQL, and state-of-the-art infrastructure, encompassing Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Kafka, and the latest AI-driven tools like LLMs and OCRs, to create advanced data products.

Jérémie, VP of Data, will be the one to help you succeed.

Before joining Qonto, Jérémie was an associate professor at Telecom Paris and Telecom SudParis. He led data teams for some of France's most reputed digital companies and still advises several deep tech startups. He teaches at Ecole Polytechnique and co-authored over 50 scientific papers.

Jérémie defines a clear vision and path to success for our data platform, BI, data science, and data products teams. He ensures they operate efficiently and have a smooth collaboration with other departments at Qonto. He also helps them continuously learn new skills while improving their existing ones and is still very involved in the hiring of his teams.

People Management: You have managed teams within a structured tech company, and know how to make your team grow.

Delivery Management: Proven track record of managing complex deliveries within a cross-functional environment, collaborating effectively with Product, Risk, and Technology teams

Tech Skills: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and review code. Proficiency in Python is essential.

Functional knowledge in ML/Fraud.

Languages: You are fluent in English. French is a plus.
