The Internal Control team, in charge of ensuring the Internal Control System is well deployed, in particular, performing recurring permanent controls; The Financial Crime team, in charge of the definition and supervision of the AML/CFT system and performs enhanced investigations in case of suspicion (level 2); The Regulatory team, in charge of remaining compliant with any applicable law and regulation at any time; The Risk team, in charge of monitoring and managing Qonto's risk at any level.

Jeremy (Lead Internal Control) and his team of 3 internal controllers focus on maintaining the operational mastery and efficiency of Qonto’s Corporate department, ensuring accurate reporting, and strengthening compliance with laws and internal policies

Conduct autonomous controls (2-3 per month) focusing on Accounting processes across all markets.

Analyze and assess accounting processes, and conduct a second line of control.

Create detailed reports and design practical recommendations to improve operational processes

Collaborate with stakeholders to implement control improvements and follow up on action plans

Their background? Jeremy joined Qonto over 3 years ago, bringing more than 8 years of diverse experience in Internal Control and Financial Services. Before Qonto, he held senior roles in Internal Control at Bpifrance and worked as a financial auditor for banking companies at Forvis Mazars Group. He started at Qonto as a Senior Internal Controller, focusing on finance areas, and has grown to now lead the Internal Control team for our Corporate division.

What they can bring to the team: With his extensive background in both internal control and financial auditing within the banking sector, Jeremy brings deep expertise in financial processes and control frameworks. His progression from Senior Internal Controller to division leader demonstrates his ability to develop talent and build effective control systems. Jeremy's experience across different financial institutions gives him a comprehensive understanding of best practices, enabling him to mentor apprentices while ensuring robust control standards across Qonto's Corporate activities.

Education : you are specialized in Finance ( DCG, DSCG, And other finance-related degrees )

Organization : You have a strong attention to detail and can manage multiple controls simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards

Communication : You can articulate complex findings clearly and build constructive relationships with stakeholders

Problem-solving : You enjoy analyzing processes and finding practical solutions to improve them

Proactive mindset : You take initiative in your work and are eager to learn and grow in the field of internal control

Language : Fluent in English and French to effectively communicate with international stakeholders
