Join us as a Fraud Analyst to protect our customers by detecting and preventing various types of fraud. You will be part of our newly created specialized Fraud team, focusing on safeguarding Qonto's Spanish market customers from scams and fraudulent activities.

β’ Monitor and analyze transactions to detect fraud patterns, focusing on scams, phishing attempts, and account takeover activities
β’ Conduct risk assessments for new products and features while ensuring robust onboarding fraud prevention
β’ Investigate potential fraud cases and implement preventive measures across financing and payment products
β’ Collaborate with Risk and Security teams to enhance fraud detection capabilities and align strategies
β’ Deliver high-quality, timely fraud analysis while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Anamaria, our Lead AML/CFT for France & Spain, will be the one to help you succeed.
Her path: Anamaria is today a leader in fraud prevention. She has been in Qonto since 2019 and was able to grow from a Customer Success role to a Fraud Team Lead role. She combines hands-on expertise with excellent people skills, and her multilingual background (French, Spanish, English, Italian, and Romanian) helps her connect easily within our diverse and international team.
What can she bring to you?: She values open communication and encourages team members to share ideas for process improvements. She's always available to support her team members' growth based on their individual needs.

About You
β’ Experience: You have at least some experience (ideally 6-12 months) in fraud detection, AML, or a similar field involving alert processing and investigation
β’ Languages: You are bilingual in Spanish and French, as you'll be primarily handling the Spanish market
β’ Analytical mindset: You have strong analytical and creative thinking skills to detect patterns and solve complex fraud cases
β’ Communication skills: You can communicate effectively with customers and counterparties when gathering information about potential fraud cases
β’ Learning mindset: You're open to feedback and motivated to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
This is a full-time position based in Barcelona (office presence required some days per week, no full remote possible).
