As a Business Developer, your role is to generate as many relevant opportunities as possible for the Sales team. So you will have a key role in our outbound strategy!

You will join a team composed of Account Executives, Business Developers Inbound and Outbound, and Key Account Managers skyrocketing the Spanish Market πŸš€

β€’ Generate Outbound opportunities for the Account Executive team by identifying, contacting, advising, and qualifying companies;
β€’ Prospect famous companies by scrapping the correct decision-makers to help Qonto expand its portfolio of clients.
β€’ Follow up on marketing-generated leads and conduct research to evaluate if they are interesting for Qonto;
β€’ Conduct telephone surveys to understand our prospects better, to build and enrich our database;
β€’ Participate in events to proactively approach new clients.

🀝 About your future manager

You will join the Sales team led by Mateo, our Outbound Sales Lead in Spain.

His path: With over 8 years in Sales and a Master's in Business from Barcelona, Mateo boasts extensive experience. Having dedicated the past 5 years to the Fintech sector, he brings a deep understanding of its dynamics. Mateo prioritizes a positive work environment, teamwork, and healthy competition, reflecting his commitment to fostering both professional growth and strong interpersonal relationships.

What he can bring to you:
Mateo can offer you his wealth of experience to empower you as an exemplary SDR, mastering crucial sales techniques. You'll learn how to conduct cold calls, adeptly handle objections, and negotiate efficiently.
Moreover, he will guide you and enhance your skills in crafting written and oral presentations for prospects, managers, and clients. With Mateo’s mentorship, you can become an expert in understanding the Fintech sector, and Qonto specifically.

- Experience: You have at least 1 year of experience as an SDR or Sales (ideally in a fast-paced environment) among a well-developed sales team and ideally, you will be able to share best practices; You have a knack for organization, managing a pipeline with precision and efficiency;
- Resilience: You are combative, and you love challenges (it is necessary to know how to cold call);
- Mastery: You have already used a CRM (Salesforce would be a plus) and you already know how to work with data enrichment tools: Sales Navigator SalesQL, etc;
-Communication skills:  You're an excellent communicator with strong negotiation and active listening skills. You are also able to listen and communicate with external and internal partners; you are also able to write email sequences to chase your prospects;
- Curious mindset: You're eager to learn and adapt, whether it's mastering Salesforce or engaging with new sales strategies.
- Languages: You speak both fluently Spanish and English.

Our salary range is composed of a fix annual salary plus a performance based bonus.
