Join us as a Senior People Business Partner and become the strategic partner to our Tech teams, helping shape the employee experience for our 200+ tech talents. You'll play a crucial role in supporting our ambitious tech roadmap by ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the engineering talent that powers Qonto's growth across Europe.

As part of the People Development team, you'll directly impact how our engineers and technical leaders experience work at Qonto, partnering closely with managers to align people strategies with our technical objectives.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Senior People Business Partner at Qonto, you will
• Partner strategically with tech leadership to understand technical challenges and develop people strategies that support our tech roadmap and scaling objectives
• Serve as the trusted advisor to managers and tech leads, providing guidance on technical talent management, career progression frameworks, and performance management tailored to engineering roles
• Drive retention and engagement within our tech teams by addressing unique challenges faced by engineers, from career development to technical growth paths and work-life balance
• Support technical hiring and onboarding by partnering with our Talent Acquisition team to refine our engineering recruitment process and ensure smooth integration of new tech hires
• Navigate complex people situations specific to tech environments, including managing high-performers, addressing technical debt in team dynamics, and supporting cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Product, and other teams

• Work specifically with tech teams across our organization, understanding the unique challenges and motivations of technical talent
• Support teams working on cutting-edge fintech solutions including our core banking platform, mobile applications, and data infrastructure serving 400,000+ customers
• Partner with leaders who value data-driven decisions, continuous improvement, and high-quality delivery - principles that align with our engineering culture
• Collaborate with specialized teams including our Learning & Development team to design technical career paths and our Talent Acquisition team to attract top engineering talent in a competitive market

🤝 About your future manager
Your manager will be Bénédicte, our People Business Partnering Director.
Bénédicte brings 10+ years of HR experience from Orange, where she held various HR roles including HRBP and Human Resources Director. She has extensive experience supporting technical teams and understanding the unique challenges of managing engineering talent. She joined Qonto in 2022 and currently leads a team of 10+ People Business Partners across all European markets.

What she brings to the team:
With her experience in tech environments, Bénédicte understands the specific needs of engineering teams and focuses on scaling our people practices to support technical growth. She's passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our tech talent and ensuring our engineering teams have the support they need to innovate and deliver.

• Tech population expertise: You have proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting engineering, product, or technical teams, with deep understanding of how tech talent thinks, what motivates them, and the unique people challenges in technical environments
• Engineering culture fluency: You understand the mindset and working styles of engineers, product managers, and technical leaders without needing to be technical yourself - you know how to communicate effectively with this population
• Complex problem-solving: You excel at navigating sophisticated people challenges common in tech environments, from managing high-performing individual contributors to supporting technical leadership transitions and team scaling
• Data-driven approach: You use metrics and analytics to understand team health, retention patterns, and engagement drivers specific to technical populations
• Communication excellence: You have outstanding communication skills and can build trust with technical stakeholders who value directness, logic, and evidence-based approaches
