Join us as a Senior People Business Partner and become the strategic partner to our Product teams, helping shape the employee experience for our 150+ Product talents. You'll play a crucial role in supporting our ambitious Product roadmap by ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the engineering talent that powers Qonto's growth across Europe.

As part of the People Development team, you'll directly impact how our Product leaders experience work at Qonto, partnering closely with managers to align people strategies with our Product objectives.


👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Senior People Business Partner at Qonto, you will

• Partner strategically with Product leadership to understand their challenges and develop people strategies that support our Product roadmap and scaling objectives
• Serve as the trusted advisor to Product leaders and managers, providing guidance on Product talent management, career progression frameworks, and performance management tailored to product roles
• Drive retention and engagement within our Product teams by addressing unique challenges faced by product managers and designers, from career development to growth paths and work-life balance
• Support Product hiring and onboarding by partnering with our Talent Acquisition team to improve our recruitment process and ensure smooth integration of new Product hires
• Navigate complex people situations specific to Product environments, including managing high-performers, addressing Product debt in team dynamics, and supporting cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Product, and other teams

• Work specifically with Product teams across our organisation, understanding the unique challenges and motivations of product talent;
• Support teams working on cutting-edge fintech solutions, a platform with banking at its core, augmented by financial tools  serving 500,000+ customers;

• Collaborate with specialised teams, including our Talent & Learning & Development team to design career paths and our Talent Acquisition team to attract top talent in a competitive market.


🤝 About your future manager

Your manager will be Bénédicte, our People Business Partnering Director: Bénédicte brings 10+ years of HR experience from Orange, where she held various HR roles, including HRBP and Human Resources Director. She has extensive experience supporting large teams and understanding the unique challenges of managing engineering talent. She joined Qonto in 2022 and currently leads a team of 10+ People Business Partners across all European markets.

What she brings to the team: With her experience in tech environments, Bénédicte understands the specific needs of engineering teams and focuses on scaling our people practices to support growth. She's passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our Product talent and ensuring our engineering teams have the support they need to innovate and deliver, through strong business partnership.

• Product or Tech population expertise: You have proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting engineering, product, or technical teams, with a deep understanding of how Product talent thinks, what motivates them, and the unique people challenges in technical environments;
• Engineering culture fluency: You understand the mindset and working styles of engineers, product managers, and technical leaders without needing to be technical yourself - you know how to communicate effectively with this population;
• Complex problem-solving: You excel at navigating sophisticated people challenges common in tech environments, from managing high-performing individual contributors to supporting Product leadership transitions and team scaling;
• Data-driven approach: You use metrics and analytics to understand team health, retention patterns, and engagement drivers specific to Product populations;
• Communication excellence: You have outstanding communication skills and can build trust with Product stakeholders who value directness, logic, and evidence-based approaches.
