As a Learning & Development Manager, you will join the Talent team, which is part of the People Development team, and more especially the Learning & Development (L&D) Team that is responsible for building a fast-growing team that supports Qonto's ambition!

Qonto’s L&D team will go through a quite specific context as Céline - L&D Lead and Inès - L&D Manager, will be absent from September 2024 to the beginning of 2025 for personal reasons.

You will work directly under Margaux’s supervision and you will be supporting the team to build and maintain the L&D machine that enables Qontoers to unleash their full potential.


👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Learning & Development Manager, you will

• Take part in developing, with the support of People Business Partners, a unique and coherent L&D approach at Qonto, completely linked to the Lean methodology
Manage two major Academies that we built at Qonto - the Managers Academy and the EmpowerU Academy (self-development & soft skills academy) - ensuring the quality of the delivery and a smooth run of all the programs and sessions. You will also manage the budget associated to these trainings (purchase orders to Finance, price negotiations with external partners,...)
Making L&D shine at Qonto Level: dashboard creation & KPIs updates, and develop group L&D-related internal communication
Build the solid foundations and prepare our LMS Migration that will happen early 2025 (from Airtable to Workday), entering the L&D tooling galaxy.

🤝 About your future Manager

Until Céline's return, your manager will be Margaux, Head of Talent.

• Her background?
With a background in communication and political science, Margaux did a 10-year career cycle in consulting and business roles, first in advertising, then in design, and lastly in innovation. The she decided to do a reconversion to HRBP and she entered Qonto in 2021. During two years, she led teams composed of People Business Partners and People Operations Managers, on a scope composed of 3 out of 5 departments at Qonto - Corporate, Growth, and Operations. Then she moved one year ago the her current role, Head of Talent, in which she supervises two key activities: Learning & Development & Talent Projects.

What does she bring to the team?
Margaux is deeply enthusiastic about fostering employee development, enabling them to thrive in their roles. Thanks to her experience as People Business Partners and her significant tenure at Qonto, she knows well “the field” and she will be able to guide you in building strong L&D models or programs that will meet the real expectations of Qontoers. 


🏅 About You

Experience: You have 5+ years of experience as an HR generalist, business project manager, or learning manager
Mastery: You have a strong methodology on how we should train people (or strong convictions!), you are also hands-on, able to multitask and prioritize your daily workload but you are also accurate and rigorous in everything you do
Teamwork: You can build strong relationships with various stakeholders (from Managers or People Business Partners) based on confidentiality and trust
Communication: You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Languages: You are fluent in English, other European languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish) are a plus
Education: You have a Master's or equivalent degree
