Join us as a Financial Settlement Controller and play a pivotal role in our Core Banking System reconciliation process at Qonto. Your mission will be to implement robust reconciliation processes for our core banking system, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Financial Settlement Controller at Qonto, you will:
• Implement banking reconciliation processes in SAP for CBS core banking system transactions, configuring and managing reconciliation workflows for complex payment systems including CB, SWIFT, SDD, and cards,
• Oversee end-to-end Core Banking System reconciliation process by coordinating the different departments involved (Bank operation, ledger, and treasury),
• Analyze the discrepancies detected on second-level control with Treasury and Bank Operations team,
• Being proactive by offering innovative solutions for the Core Banking System reconciliation process on the finance side (including the monitoring of internal accounts, suspense accounts, and operational accounts),
• Support the Finance team in the implementation of the accounting allocation rules of the Core Banking System transactions as part of a new ERP project,
• To be one of the main points of contact, for any operational development impacting the Core Banking System (product launch, diversification of our banking partnerships, etc.).
• Organize and prioritize reconciliation work to prevent backlogs while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy under pressure including suspense accounts.
• Monitoring and tracking the opening and closure of internal bank accounts.

🏅 About You:
• Banking Industry Experience: You have at least ~5 years of experience in the Banking industry with hands-on banking reconciliation experience
• Technical Systems Expertise: SAP experience with ERP system implementation, particularly in configuring reconciliation processes
• Payment Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking systems and accounting processes, with experience in retail banking and payment systems (CB, SWIFT, SDD, cards)
• Reconciliation Proficiency: Proficiency in bank-specific reconciliation processes and cash flow management.
• Adaptability & Mindset: Adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Communication & Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and ability to coordinate with various departments.
French highly appreciated.
