Paint & Shipping Lead – 1st Shift
Pay: Up to $28/hour (based on experience)
Location: Cocoa Beach, FL
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Voluntary OT on Saturdays)

Overview:
A structural steel fabrication company is looking for a dependable and experienced Paint & Shipping Lead to join their 1st shift team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the paint and loading departments to ensure efficient workflow and maintain high standards for safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and train team members in paint and shipping operations
- Manage daily workflow to meet deadlines and maintain product quality
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry specifications
- Perform QA/QC checks and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate shipping and loading schedules with internal teams
- Support corrective actions and team performance initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in structural steel painting and/or loading
- 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of painting standards and QA/QC practices
- Familiarity with production tracking software (EPMgo is a plus)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Safety-minded with a strong team-oriented attitude
