Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced JennerJahn Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. 1. Machine Setup and Operation:
- Set up and calibrate printing presses based on job specifications.
- Operate and monitor printing presses to ensure production quality.
- Adjust machine settings such as ink flow, tension, and pressure to optimize output.
2. Quality Control:
- Perform regular inspections of printed materials for quality assurance.
- Monitor and maintain color consistency.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during the printing process.
3. Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct routine maintenance on printing presses to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems promptly to reduce downtime.
- Work with maintenance teams for major repairs and preventive maintenance.
4. Material Handling:
- Load and unload paper and other materials into the machines.
- Ensure proper alignment and positioning of materials for accurate printing.
5. Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Comply with industry standards and regulations related to machine operation.
6. Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of job specifications, machine adjustments, and production quantities.
- Complete required production reports and logs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Print Press Operator or in a similar role within a printing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow job orders, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure print quality and consistency.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and address job-related issues.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
