The Team develops and maintains systems that support the global securities lending program – a key function allowing investors to temporarily lend securities like stocks in exchange for fees. The team is a trusted partner in ensuring workflow efficiency, risk management, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop resilient and highly scalable systems tailored to the needs of global financial markets
- Partner closely with Securities Lending traders and strategists to design and deploy effective technology solutions
- Contribute to major strategic initiatives and system hygiene improvements across the business
- Collaborate with a distributed agile team based in Budapest, London, and New York
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or higher degree in a STEM field
- Strong knowledge of Java, especially server-side development
- Understanding of multi-threaded Java programming
- User-level knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL)
- Strong communication skills and ability to deliver high-quality software in collaborative teams
- Appreciation for testing and documentation as core components of software quality
