We’re looking to hire an exceptional Software Engineer to join our team responsible for developing low-latency, high-throughput infrastructure for algorithmic trading. We’re a group of experienced engineers, working on some of the most challenging projects in the industry: low-level performance optimizations, highly available distributed systems, messaging formats, transport protocols, and more. The code we write trades billions of dollars daily and is directly responsible for the Firm’s success.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency infrastructure for algorithmic trading
- Own projects end-to-end, from inception through deployment, ensuring reliable product delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues to maintain the stability and reliability of trading systems
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Java and related technologies such as JPA
- Knowledge of, or strong interest in learning about:
- Operating system internals
- Networking concepts
- CPU architectures
- Hands-on experience with:
- High-performance computing
- Multi-threading and concurrency
- Distributed systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals including:
- Algorithms
- Data structures
- Software design principles
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
