We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technology Risk Analyst to join our Technology Risk Governance and Controls team. In this role, you will support operational risk processes, drive improvements through automation, and help strengthen our risk management framework.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the Technology Operational Risk Internal Incident Collection Process
- Ensure consistency and efficiency across risk-related workflows
- Apply a foundational understanding of the technology lifecycle (development, testing, deployment)
- Assess technology risks and evaluate control effectiveness
- Interpret and implement firmwide technology risk policies and frameworks
- Communicate effectively across functions and manage stakeholder expectations independently
- Exhibit project management capabilities, with a focus on time management and prioritization
- Contribute strategic thinking and problem-solving to improve processes
- Maintain a strong attention to detail in all aspects of risk reporting and process oversight
- Leverage data analysis to support risk processes and identify automation opportunities
- Participate in ongoing process automation initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technology risk, IT governance, or related fields
- Foundational knowledge of technology risk, control frameworks, and policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau is a strong plus
- Familiarity with automation tools or scripting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies and best practices
