We are expanding a global technology team supporting front-office systems for financial markets. You’ll join a tight-knit, collaborative group working on innovative projects across multiple regions, including Asia and Europe. Strong communication and time management skills are key in our dynamic, international environment.
No financial background is required — but curiosity and a desire to learn about the financial markets is a must. The team builds on a modern, async-based calculation platform powered by a bitemporal data store and cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial technology solutions
- Collaborate with international development teams
- Learn and work with modern technologies, with a focus on functional programming
- Engage with business users and technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
- Solid experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, C#, Python)
- Strong interest in learning Scala and functional programming concepts
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team-player attitude
- Eagerness to learn financial technology
Advantages
- Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Computer science fundamentals (client/server architecture, multithreading, memory management)
- Unix/Linux environment experience
