Key responsibilities
As a Marketing Data Scientist (m/f/d), you will play a key role in improving how we connect with millions of customers - online and offline. You will drive data-powered marketing strategies and optimize attribution models. In detail you:

Analyze customer, marketing, and onsite data using SQL and Python to enhance marketing campaign performance and customer engagement.
Develop, expand, and optimize Data Science use cases such as attribution modeling, bidding optimization, and campaign performance forecasting using open-source technologies.
Build and maintain self-service BI solutions tailored to marketing teams, enabling data-driven decision-making. Collaborate closely with marketing, CRM, and product teams to bridge data science and business needs.
Support marketing automation and personalization initiatives with advanced models and actionable insights.


Required Skills and Experience
 
Must-Have Experience:
 Solid experience in forecasting models and predictive analytics using machine learning and statistical methods.
 Strong understanding of onsite tracking (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4) and online marketing metrics.
 Hands-on experience with Python for statistical modeling and automation.
 Advanced knowledge of SQL (BigQuery or Redshift preferred).
 Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools .
 Strong grasp of digital marketing strategies and KPIs.

 Technical Skills:
 Proficiency in Python and SQL programming.
 Experience with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt).
 Familiarity with virtualization (e.g., Docker).
 Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
 Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

 Marketing & Analytics Knowledge:
 Expertise in attribution modeling, bidding strategies , and testing methodologies .
 Understanding of key marketing platforms (Paid Search, Social Media, Display, etc.).
 Ability to translate complex data into meaningful recommendations for marketing.

 Soft Skills:
 Agile, proactive, and hands-on mindset.
 Strong communication skills , both within the team and across departments.
 Passion for working with people and exploring new technologies .
 Confident in spoken and written English .
