Responsibilities:
· Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including:
· Collaborate with global team members to deliver enhancements and solutions that address business needs
Ensure high-quality software delivery by applying best practices such as:
· Code reviews
· Automated testing
· Status reporting
· Resilient and maintainable code
· Actively develop, maintain, and improve applications and deployment processes
· Work closely with stakeholders to deliver real-time derivative trade clearing solutions
· Operate in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with a strong focus on performance and quality
· Contribute to an innovative and forward-thinking development team
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably Java)
- Hands-on experience with major Java frameworks and libraries, including: Spring, Hibernate/ORM, Apache Camel
- Solid understanding of multi-threaded, distributed, and scalable systems
- Experience with pub/sub messaging using middleware (e.g., MQ)
- Proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., DB2, Sybase)
- Strong foundation in computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms)
- Familiar with software development methodologies such as: TDD, BDD, Agile practices
- Experience working in Unix environments
- Knowledge of build tools and DevOps processes: Gradle, CI/CD pipelines
- Scripting abilities in Shell, Python, or Perl
- Experience supporting distributed systems in production environments
