The successful candidate will join the Application Integration Services (AIS) team, a specialized group responsible for the smooth onboarding and lifecycle management of applications across the firm’s global infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with clients and vendors to understand business and technical functions of applications.
- Coordinate review and testing sessions with internal technology, business, risk, and support teams to onboard applications to Morgan Stanley systems.
- Collaborate closely with the acquired company’s software teams to assess and document their software inventory.
- Partner with Morgan Stanley finance and IT teams to ensure proper software licensing and onboarding.
- Engage with Morgan Stanley InfraRisk teams to ensure all software is reviewed against risk controls, and identify opportunities to optimize the review process.
- Maintain a catalog of applications and report on onboarding and readiness progress.
- Document procedures for application requests, support, and escalation workflows.
- Plan, coordinate, and perform application testing and validation.
- Understand the network and infrastructure dependencies of applications and work with infrastructure and risk teams to document requirements.
- Create application packages and sequences using Microsoft AdminStudio, and equivalent tools for macOS and Linux as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Windows administration and desktop application management.
- Strong working knowledge of macOS desktop application management and mobile applications.
- Experience in testing desktop and web applications.
- Proven experience managing system and user configurations in large, distributed environments.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly understand, document, and operate within dynamic company processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite (Office, OneDrive, Teams, Planner) with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong aptitude for reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in fast-paced, enterprise environments.
Advantages
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of web design technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Expert-level experience working within Agile methodologies and tooling, preferably with exposure to large-scale Agile transformation initiatives
