Responsibilities:

• Design and run manual test scenarios to test API endpoints

• Design and run automation scripts to test API endpoints using test automation frameworks

• Identify and prioritize test cases for automation

• Participate in testing review, collaborate with analysts and developers to resolve projects issues, create request samples,

and gather test data via database operations or manual searches

• Contribute with the rest of the team to continuous improvements of the testing process

Requirements:

• Previous experience in testing automation

• Experience in testing REST/SOAP endpoints, Java microservices

• Experience testing with IBM MQs and data queues

• Competent SQL (or PL/SQL/DB2) experience (using queries on large Databases e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)

• Experience in using SoapUI/ReadyAPI/Insomnia or similar, Java/Groovy Script, generate test data, parse JSON/XML,

create smart assertions, and build interactive test suites with dynamic inputs.

• Experience in using Zephyr for writing test scenarios or another test management tool

• Experience in log monitoring (ex. Elastic Search)
