The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for improving technology adoption and team efficiency as well as being a central resource for execution and reporting for all territories.
Responsibilties
- Take our usage of Marketo and/or Autopilot to the next level by implementing best practice, segmentation, lead scoring and automation
- Convert marketing plans and business requirements into executable deliverables
- Own our marketing operations technology stack including Marketo, Autopilot, Splash and Lean Data
- Lead the evaluation of new sales and marketing technologies, adding and/or consolidating vendors
- Lead global marketing operations projects and process development, working cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, engineering, demand generation, and external consultants/vendors as needed
- Own email marketing reporting and analytics - including, but not limited to, campaign attribution reporting, pipeline and revenue reporting, conversion rates, SLA governance, and lead status reporting by region
- Champion marketing data quality by developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure database integrity
- Evangelize a project management approach and mindset within the team
- Ensure clear definition of program success and present business and marketing improvements against goals
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant marketing operations / demand generation / sales operations experience
- Successful track record of implementing and managing marketing automation systems and associated integration (Marketo, Autopilot, and Salesforce experience preferred)
- Vendor management, including technology vendors and/or external consultancies.
- Experience researching, reviewing Statement of Works, creating RFPs, and negotiating with vendors a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency with database design concepts, data, modeling, and segmentation
- Experience with SQL, or a programming language a strong plus
- Excellent planning and project management skills
- Highly driven and self-motivated
