The Q for Publishers platform team is focused on developing and delivering products that meet the needs of digital publishers seeking to thrive in an increasingly programmatic world. By joining as a Senior Account Executive, you will have a critical, direct influence on the success of Q for Publishers and Quantcast at large.
You will have a successful track record in consultative sales and/or business development, particularly in big data/subscription/SaaS enterprise sales, and preferably in the digital publishing or media industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep product and technical expertise of the Q for Publishers platform
- Superb full cycle sales skills including prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing new business deals with strategic accounts in the digital publisher industry
- Executing against assigned quarterly goals
- Build relationships with senior-level stakeholders (sales, ad ops, marketing, research)
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Engineering and other departments to influence a customer-centric
- Strong knowledge of competitive landscape and industry trends
- Representing Quantcast at industry conferences and speaking opportunities
Requirements
- 7+ years business development or enterprise sales experience in the digital publishing, advertising or media industry
- Consultative sales approach and/or experience partnering/working with complex, enterprise level accounts
- Existing relationships with C-level and executive contacts in the digital publishing industry preferred.
- Comfortable selling to new business prospects.
- Proficient in selling data-centric and/or analytics based digital products.
- Strong presentation and communication skills
