This is a 12 month contract position.

As our Sales footprint expands across North Asia we're looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to drive the execution of our client engagement events in Hong Kong. This role will report into our APAC Marketing Lead based in Sydney so will need to be able to operate with a degree of autonomy.

What you'll be doing:

    • Event Support:
    • Owning the planning, promotion, and execution of regional customer events, and working with the Regional Marketing Lead to manage deliverables for relevant trade shows and conferences in the region. 
    • Coordinate logistics, working with local vendors and partners to prepare and manage all event deliverables to ensure successful event execution.
    • Conduct post-event analysis to assess effectiveness and gather insights for ROI tracking and improvement
    • Own and manage part of the regional marketing budget pertaining to events, including tracking expenditures and assessing the cost-effectiveness of marketing activities, adjusting plans as needed to stay within budget.
    • Content and Communications Support:
    • Support the Regional Marketing Lead and working with local agencies in developing and localising content such as articles, press releases, social media posts, and marketing collateral to reflect the unique capabilities and offerings in APAC.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to adapt engaging, market-specific content and initiatives that aligns with brand standards whilst optimising campaigns.
    • Assisting with award submissions, providing supporting documentation and coordinating with relevant departments for high-impact entries.
    • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for local and regional campaigns, reporting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Marketing Strategy and Opportunity Identification:
    • Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Lead to develop strategic marketing plans that align with APAC growth goals with a focus on Hong Kong.
    • Analysing marketing data and trends in the APAC region to identify new opportunities for brand positioning, customer engagement, and lead generation with a focus on Hong Kong.
    • Recommend new channels, partnerships, and tools to enhance the effectiveness of regional marketing campaigns.

What you'll bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
    • Business level Traditional Chinese language skills3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally within the APAC region.
    • Proven experience in event coordination and content development.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across various markets.
    • Experience with budget management and maximising ROI for marketing activities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative approach to messaging and content.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms is a plus.

The desirables:

    • Knowledge of the advertising landscape, APAC market trends and consumer behaviour is a plus.
    • Proficiency and ability to translate English content into Simplified Chinese.
    • Experience working with marketing consultancies/agencies.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced, international environment.
