We’re looking for a dedicated engineer to join our team to support process development and continuous improvement activities.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to continuously improve existing coating, lamination, and sintering processes as well as support the development of new processing methods to improve product performance and reliability consistent with the technology roadmap
Apply your knowledge of engineering statistics to design, plan and execute experiments, analyze results, and effectively communicate results to technical leaders
Collaborate with failure analysis and test engineering teams to evaluate product performance and reliability
Develop, maintain and provide training on standard operating procedures, work instructions, and other instructions for technicians and operators
B.S. in ceramic engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, or related field
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to adapt to the fast-pace, changing needs, and challenges of a high-tech start-up
Demonstrated ability to get results
2+ years' experience manufacturing or process/materials engineering environment
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Practical knowledge of ceramic materials, slurry rheology, and materials processing
Training in the design of experiments, statistics, six sigma methodologies
High-temperature furnace or processing experience
Experience with defining processing requirements to deliver results on time and within budget
