The Role & Responsibilities
Work closely with Chief Legal Officer to support corporate transactions, including collaboration and development agreements, M&A, and strategic relationship transactions.
Perform work on various general corporate matters, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreement and otherwise provide legal and business support:
Analyze and explain contractual issues, assessing legal risks to give clear advice to internal executives on strategic responses to legal and regulatory compliance and various operational matters;
Evaluate, develop, and run our compliance framework for the Company;
Assist in the design and implementation of corporate compliance and governance programs and initiatives; develop policies and procedures to monitor the company’s ongoing compliance with global regulatory requirements

Minimum Requirements:
JD and license to practice law in at least one U.S. State plus
7+ years of corporate experience in a similar role;
law firm experience is a plus
Strong intellectual property background

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to analyze facts and apply legal knowledge to translate and provide advice in terms that are easily understood by technical and business leaders
You are responsive and enjoy working closely with the business teams;
You are energetic, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can easily handle multiple and shifting priorities
Use tact and common sense when interacting with outside and inside contacts and performing job functions
Work independently to produce a high-quality work product that shows good judgment and attention to detail
Open to occasional domestic and international travel post-COVID-19
