You will manage and mentor an intern to enhance your productivity. You will train our employees to understand their role in security and provide them the tools that make their jobs easier and secure. You will aggressively seek ways to improve our security posture and up-time. You will work with vendors to perform penetration tests and you will implement suggestions to harden our infrastructure against penetration. At the same time, you will segment our network to enhance security and thereby discourage East-West migration after penetration. You seek learning opportunities and continually educate yourself to stay up-to-speed on the latest developments in the fast-moving industry of computer security.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Lead the development and execution of our IT security strategy
Manage our security dashboards to ensure a robust alerting system and act as the first point of contact to respond to security alerts and ensure closure of any issues.
Maintain business-critical IT infrastructure and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements
Proactively identify business needs and rapidly deploy matching capabilities
Work closely with software development and data science teams to enable them to deploy software on a secure infrastructure

Required qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years' experience in an IT role in the following areas:
