Position Summary
Culligan Quench is seeking a Training Specialist to join our Service Operations team, supporting the development and success of our Field Service Technicians. This role is focused on executing training programs designed to build the technical, troubleshooting, and customer-facing skills of our technician workforce. The Training Specialist will be hands-on with our equipment, ensuring technicians are prepared to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs safely and effectively.
This is not a content-development role - we are looking for someone with a strong technical service background who can deliver, demonstrate, and reinforce training models in the field and classroom.
Responsibilities
- Execute training models and programs to ensure new and existing Field Technicians are equipped with the skills to install, maintain, and service Culligan Quench equipment.
- Deliver hands-on, technical training focused on electrical troubleshooting, multimeter usage, and routine maintenance practices.
- Lead onboarding sessions for new technicians, ensuring they understand company procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Provide ongoing training and refresher sessions in areas such as equipment upgrades, preventive maintenance, and diagnostic techniques.
- Conduct ride-alongs and on-site coaching to reinforce classroom learning and evaluate technician performance.
- Partner with the Service Education Director and regional leaders to adapt training based on field needs and feedback.
- Monitor technician progress, identify skill gaps, and recommend retraining or coaching as needed.
- Ensure consistency of technical and service standards across the organization.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred
· 3+ years of proven experience in a teaching/training position
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
· Experience with Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat, LMS and/or training software/tools is a plus
· Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
· Solid knowledge of corporate training techniques
· Intellectual curiosity about best practices in training and customer care
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Must be a quick learner and should be able to adapt to changing technical and business requirements
· Results-oriented attitude, ability to manage multiple projects and data-driven mindset
