We are adding to our team in Overland Park, KS and looking for a Product Designer. As a Product Designer, you will have a key role in our Product Management team researching user behavior and designing and validating solutions that meet our business objectives. You will be working on web portal-type applications for various types of health care providers and organizations. Your contribution will improve accuracy of provider data to help Healthcare Insurers to build better provider networks. As the sole designer for our Provider Products, you will be the voice of the user in product development and help us deliver features for both internal and external users.

You should apply if:

    • You have experience designing solutions in software product organizations incl. customer journey maps, wireframes and prototypes.
    • You have designed and launched web applications which make complex tasks simple (preferably B2B / Enterprise software).
    • You have experience in conducting user research and validating solutions.
    • You have an analytical and disciplined design process.
    • You are great at articulating your design decisions and achieving buy-in.
    • Bonus Points for:
    • You have experience with analytics and data.
    • You have experience working in healthcare software.
    • You can support with HTML/CSS to polish designs if needed.

In this role you will:

    • Design product solutions that meet business objectives and solve customer needs.
    • Research and be the advocate for the user.
    • Evaluate success of solutions and iterate on them.
    • Evolve our design systems and champion them within the company.
    • Polish UI/UX with development teams before launch to assure quality.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Arts / Computer Science or equivalent practical work experience in Product Design
    • Minimum 3 years work experience required in Product Design, including:
    • User-centered design methods (user research, user journey maps)
    • Designing in various levels of fidelity (wireframes to polished UI designs)
    • Working with modern, vector-based design tools (we primarily use Figma)
    • Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills
    • Able to work in a fast paced deadline oriented environment
    • Customer focused
    • Works well in a team environment
