The team is driven to make healthcare more accessible for all Americans. We’re looking for a dedicated full-time Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team.

We’re looking for a SQA Automation Engineer to be a key member of a skilled, results-oriented Quality Assurance team. Working with desktop and web apps, and have a solid foundation of software QA skills in automation testing. This is a hands-on role, writing test plans and conducting testing in an agile environment. The right candidate will want to not only help define and build a quality assurance program, but also look to become an integral part of Quest’s software development lifecycle. Quest is looking to build a Quality Assurance team to mitigate risk and thoroughly vet any product issues prior to product releases.  #LI-Remote

In this role you will:

    • Identify automation testing needs and opportunities in collaboration with software engineering team
    • Develop an Automation framework for the product, determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI, web service API, functional/performance/load, and so on). 
    • Create automation test plans, test cases, and test scripts for production night smoke test plan, Integration Regression test plan as well as maintain automation test scripts
    • Execute and report on the full testing suite; create traceability matrix. 
    • Implement and utilize tools like Azure, Azure Test Plan Manager for Test case documentation. 
    • Perform cross OS/browser testing
    • Track quality gate metrics such as code coverage, code reviews and flag issues to the team 
    • Generate new ideas for automation
    • Be proactive in keeping your skills fresh and keep up with latest industry trends

We are looking for:

    • 3+ years of professional experience in QA Testing with automation testing of software products using a structured testing methodology 
    • Experience in creating and reviewing code pull requests based on industry best practices and building automation framework from scratch 
    • Strong experience with Selenium and GIT  and coding skills (C# preferred, Java, Python)  
    • Deep understanding of XML, HTML, and CSS 
    • Ability to use CI/CD tools to build automation pipelines from scratch using Azure or Jenkins 
    • Experience with:
    • *Microsoft Azure
      *Web and Mobile debugger tools
      *API testing tools such as SOAPUI/Postman
      *Data validation and ETL processes testing is plus 
      *Writing and executing load and/or performance testing 
      *SQL Server – strong SQL skills preferred
      *Using patterns - POM (Page Object Model) framework preferred  
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive action
    • High attention to detail including effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, fluidic environment 
    • Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills
