As a UX Researcher, your primary responsibility is to establish and nurture channels to gain insights into students' lives and gather valuable feedback. You will independently plan and execute various user studies, and other research methodologies to identify areas for enhancing the user experience, prioritizing research questions based on critical business needs. Collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers is crucial to align user needs with product development.

What You Will Do

    • Plan, conduct, and deliver impactful research that directly influences our rapid product development cycles and integrates into our product roadmaps
    • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to thoroughly understand user needs and identify opportunities to solve them
    • Prioritise research needs across multiple work streams to work on the right project and scope and ensure impact by delivering actionable insights
    • Actively gather insights from diverse sources (social listening, product analytics, inbound feedback, qualitative feedback) and stay updated on ed-tech trends to deepen your understanding of the user and technology landscape.
    • Identify Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD), construct user personas, and create journey maps to deepen the understanding of user needs.
    • Work with the lead researcher to socialize insights to a broader audience, enhancing visibility and understanding.
    • Partner with other researchers to build out research practices and processes

Who You Are

    • You have 3+ years of experience as a mixed-methods researcher with strength in qualitative research
    • You have experience conducting complex research and demonstrate the use of a variety of research methods(Playtests, interviews, surveys, co-creation sessions, contextual inquiry, usability, and diary studies)
    • You can balance working with urgency and focus with rigour and adapt as needed to the situation
    • You are curious and resourceful, always seeking new ways to improve processes and outcomes.
    • Experience with ed-tech tools and K-12 platforms is a huge plus.
