We are developing new learning experiences by modeling how students learn and drawing upon knowledge acquisition, retention, and pedagogy in cognitive science. Our marketing team is tasked with introducing Quizlet to the next 50 million learners (and beyond!). We work closely with product, design, business development and other teams to ensure that everyone who should be using Quizlet has heard about it through our owned and earned channels.

Quizlet is looking for a data-driven Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing, to drive the strategic direction of growth marketing for our quickly-growing business. You’ll build a strategy for our newly formed growth marketing team covering paid acquisition, SEO, product optimizations, and new channels, too. In addition to managing the overall acquisition strategy, you’ll work with product marketing on customer insights, community on opportunities for grassroots growth, and other departments to drive new initiatives to launch. As the team lead, you’ll also be responsible for building a team of high-caliber growth marketers across the most meaningful functions for Quizlet’s growth.
What we are looking for
- 7+ years in B2C marketing, with a focus on growth marketing
- 1+ year leading and managing a team, with a track record of being able to hire and retain great marketers
- Deep understanding of funnels, conversion, and the levers you can pull to drive growth, with a focus on acquisition and activation
- Record of developing and executing A/B tests and analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights.
- Evidence of using data to drive decision making and key company metrics
- Experience advocating for and selecting best-in-class marketing technology and then leading implementation as needed
- Strong functional experience in either SEO, paid acquisition or growth product management.
- Experience with a large, user generated content platform
- SQL knowledge
