As a market leader in Mobile Application Security Testing (Q-MAST), Quokka's proactive mobile security solutions ensure a higher level of security and privacy for mobile apps and mobile devices. Quokka will soon launch a new enterprise mobile security solution that will disrupt and reshape the market by enabling BYOD, providing privacy and security to the device owners, while allowing access to and protecting the enterprise’s data. As an SWE I, you will work with the team to develop software that facilitates the automated analysis of mobile applications. You’ll have an opportunity to work with an outstanding engineering team and work on new and interesting problems with a modern tech stack. This position at Quokka will allow you to expand your knowledge base while getting work on new and exciting product offers in the mobile security space.

What you will do in this role:
- Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements for software applications
- Assist in making implementation decisions based on high-level requirements.
- Work on a small, fast-paced team where you’ll be able to make meaningful contributions to a product used by customers globally
- Develop web-based software for services that facilitate the workflow of automated analysis of mobile applications.
- Learn from and collaborate with stakeholders in various projects to identify paths forward for development.
To be successful, we need someone in this role who has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (or foreign equivalent)
- Developed products that are customer facing
- At least 1 year working with Javascript/Typescript
- At least 1 year working with relational databases
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiarity with Azure
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
