Sales and Marketing Intern - Spain

    • Build and execute on a strategy to promote and launch “Quora for Businesses - Europe” during a 12 month internship at Quora's HQ in Mountain View, California
    • Become a product expert and provide advertiser support. Develop insights into EU markets requirements and provide feedback to the sales, marketing, and product teams
    • Complete customer facing calls, emails, and inquiries for established scaled programs
    • Collaborate with the Business Marketing team in elaborating a strategy and resources for specific EU markets
    • Respond to a high volume of emails. You'll be answering emails from advertisers who may be experiencing issues with their account, have questions about the product or looking for growth and optimization opportunities within their campaigns
    • Help deploy experiments to increase revenue, product knowledge and overall satisfaction of advertisers at scale
    • Respond quickly to high severity requests and escalate issues as needed 


    • Currently enrolled in an University in Spain specializing in marketing, business administration, or other relevant field (preferably end of graduate or post-graduate programs)
    • Ability to start at Quora by (or before) June 15 2019 with twelve month commitment
    • Exemplary verbal, written and listening communication skills in both English and Spanish
    • Comfortable working with customers and serving as the point of contact to troubleshoot technical and account issues in both languages
    • Critical thinking and investigative skills. You will need to roll your sleeves up and solve new problems
    • Ability to assess performance from data insights and previous experience with other advertising platforms a huge plus
    • Passion for marketing Quora's mission and goals
    • Past experience with business marketing, sales, or other business functions
    • Ability to translate analytics into actionable insights and recommendations that have a material impact on performance
    • General understanding of industry performance metrics is a plus
    • Experience optimizing advertising campaigns from either client or publisher side, preferably running search and social campaigns is a plus
    • Experience with customer service / ticketing system is a plus
