We are on the lookout for a passionate Sr. DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our team. As a contributor, you will collaborate with other members of the Engineering team to lead, secure, monitor and optimize the infrastructure that supports the software which drives the success of our innovative and rapidly growing company. 🗺️ Location
This is a remote position. You would need to be available within our core working hours Mon-Fri 9:00am-12:00pm ET to ensure sufficient cross-over with the team.
📆A Day in the Life
Your day as a Sr. DevOps Engineer will be focused on:
CI/CD Pipeline Architecture and Management:
Design and maintain the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring efficient software builds, tests, and deployments.
Integrate various development, testing, and deployment tools into the pipeline.
Automation of Development Processes:
Implement automation strategies to streamline development phases.
Develop scripts and tools to automate build, integration, and deployment processes.
Software Development Collaboration:
Work closely with software engineers to understand requirements and support their needs.
Collaborate on code merges, version control, and feature branch workflows.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Implement Infrastructure as Code practices for efficient management of infrastructure.
Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions for application and infrastructure performance.
Analyze system performance and propose optimizations.
Security Integration (DevSecOps):
Integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle and infrastructure.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies.
SOC2 Compliance: Ensure that all DevOps processes and tools comply with SOC2 standards, focusing on security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of customer data.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain detailed documentation of DevOps processes and tools.
Lead knowledge sharing sessions and workshops within the team.
Project Management:
Coordinate with stakeholders on project timelines and deliverables.
Collaboration with IT Ops:
Coordinate with IT Ops to align development environments with IT infrastructure needs.
❗🔍Who You Are
As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, your unique qualifications and characteristics are vital to our team's success. You are/possess:
2+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a proven track record in managing CI/CD pipelines.
Strong background in cloud computing, preferably with certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as GitHub Actions and Terraform
Experience with deployment of PHP / Laravel applications.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing High Concurrent; High Available environments
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
Process-Oriented: You excel in designing, implementing, and streamlining engineering operations processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Effective Communicator: You have excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex engineering technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
