Who We're Seeking
As a seasoned professional with 5 to 7 years of experience in television, you excel at understanding production workflows. You are dedicated to enhancing production methodologies and consistently seek opportunities for advancement. You are tech-savvy and understand the different systems used in a broadcast organization and their interoperability. You like to learn, and your proactive approach encompasses integrating new technologies.

Responsibilities

    • Assess Current State Architecture, Process Workflow, and solution inventory and identify key pain points
    • Support definition of Future State Architecture and Process Workflow with GAP analysis 
    • Support Project planning and implementation with high quality deliverables
    • Quickly immerse yourself in broadcast projects, understanding client infrastructure and procedures 
    • Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external business partners. 
    • Identify continuous improvement and processes of the broadcast transformation practice

What you'll bring

    • Good knowledge of production workflow and interoperability between systems within news or sports environment 
    • Working knowledge of solutions production, post-production, and distribution
    • A mindset of cross-unit collaboration; in addition to working with multiple engineering teams you will seamlessly partner with business and sales leaders and meaningfully contribute to adjacent business discussions/ forums that have an impact on the direction of Qvest.US business strategy.
    • Accountable for business results; understands which levers to pull to keep engineering development & projects on track
    • Willingness to have tough conversations with other leaders/ employees to come to key decisions
    • Technological depth and breadth: a deep understanding of multiple technology domains and the ability to quickly learn and build up sufficient knowledge to lead across the breadth of areas that are relevant to the project
    • Understanding of IP video workflow

Preferred Experience

    • Experience at a broadcast organization or System Integrator
    • Understanding Broadcasters, TV Networks, and video service providers ecosystems 
    • Exposure to major Broadcast Associations (IABM, NAB, SMPTE, SVG, SBE)
    • Exposure SMPTE-2110 standard and NDI
$80,000 - $400,000 a year
