Who we're seeking
You are an innovative and industrious JavaScript Engineer who wants to work on a motivated team, accelerate your career, deliver exceptional work, and have fun. Driven by a passion for learning & building, you will bring an innovative spirit and a superior work ethic to every engagement.
What you'll do
- Play an active part in the design and coding of software
- Contribute to the design and development of software
- Present solutions to clients as well as Qvest.US team members
- Shape the kind of technologies that we are going to be using
What you'll bring
- At least 2 – 4 years in software development
- Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Full-Stack Development using Node.JS
- Experience working on cross functional development teams comprising of backend, design, and Q/A team members
- Understanding of software development best practices
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies
Preferred Experience
- Front-end MVC Frameworks
- Front-end build systems such as Gulp or Grunt
- Front-end testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jasmine
- Implementing custom solutions and building plugins for enterprise applications
- Deploying and leveraging software development best practices e.g. style guides, code policies, and code reviews.
- Domain driven design and design patterns
- Leveraging Atlassian tool suite (or like tool suite) for defect management, issues management, code check-in and deployment, and collaboration: AKA JIRA, Confluence, HipChat, and BitBucket
