About the role
Qvest.US is searching for an Administrative Assistant to help run the efficient operation of Human Resources (HR) and IT processes. You will help with the routine functions of the HR department including the employment life cycle, benefits, leave, immigration and IT processes including laptop procurement, troubleshooting & trade-ins and system access management.

What You'll Do

    • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR & IT programs and processes.
    • Update, maintain and review HR related system data & employee paperwork to ensure timely and accurate information is entered.
    • Be the main point of contact for onboarding & new hire orientation.
    • Conduct background checks.
    • Facilitate benefits administration.
    • Assists in revising, recommending and implementing personnel policies and procedures.
    • Responds to employee & vendor questions, troubleshoot issues by interpreting company policies and providing recommended courses of action. Refers complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
    • Procurement of laptops, culture event items and life event items.
    • Draft and send company correspondence.
    • Maintain personnel files.
    • Create and send reports.
    • Assists in administering various HR projects and presentations.
    • Assist in completion of mandatory compliance reporting/documentation.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

    • 0-3 years of experience in an administrative or HR assistant role.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills.
    • Demonstrate responsiveness, tact, diplomacy, integrity, professionalism, good judgment, and confidentiality in communications with all levels of personnel, clients, and outside vendors.
    • Excellent problem solving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize numerous tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to quickly learn the organization’s Human Resources systems.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
