Job Summary:
Manages, designs, implements and administers global benefits and wellbeing programs for the organization. Works with external benefit brokers, providers, and vendors and manages and reviews these relationships. Advises employees and management regarding the interpretation of benefit policies, programs, and procedures. Designs, evaluates, and modifies programs to ensure they are current, competitive, and in compliance with local legal requirements. Develops and distributes communications to inform employees of benefit programs.

Key Responsibilities

    • Oversees the administration of all global employee benefits programs.
    • Evaluates internal workforce strategy, benefit utilization, vendor performance, market data and trends to develop global benefit and wellbeing programs.
    • Collaborates with brokers, vendors and regional HR team to deliver cost-effective and competitive benefit solutions that support organization objectives and strategy.
    • Selects and manages relationship with benefit vendors, including insurance providers, brokers and third-party administrators.
    • Stays informed on regulatory changes and compliance requirements related to employee benefits, time off programs and wellbeing programs.
    • Manages open enrollment for countries utilizing Workday, including timeline creation, managing testing and communications.
    • Works closely with legal and regional HR team to ensure compliance in all states and countries.
    • Develops and executes communication strategies to educate employees on available benefit plans and changes, enrollment, etc.
    • Resolves employees’ benefit problems and/or advises employees regarding approaches to resolutions.

Knowledge

    • Thorough understanding of employee benefits principles, regulations and best practices across multiple countries and regions.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with a demonstrated ability to derive actionable insights from benefits data.
    • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement in benefits program design and delivery.

Experience/Education

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 7-9 years of employee benefits administration experience, with at least 3 years in global benefits.
    • 2-3 years of supervisory experience, global team preferred.
    • Proven experience analyzing and negotiating employee benefit plans and renewals. 
    • Workday experience preferred.
$96,800 - $165,550 a year
The following information is required by pay transparency legislation in the following states: CA, CO, HI, NY, and WA. This information applies only to individuals working in these states. 

• The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is:
$96,800- $142,010
• The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $103,100 - $151,140
• The anticipated starting pay range of California, Washington state and New York City applicants for this role is: $112,900 - $165,550

Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
