RahrBSG is looking for a Maintenance worker to join our team in Shakopee Minnesota. This postion will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools if trained and qualified.
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Performs and tracks preventative maintenance in areas of responsibility.
- Be available for after hour calls to ensure the plant maintenance needs are met.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Education/Experience: 2yr Technical School or equivalent experience
- Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Various Certificates, Licenses, Registrations in related Maintenance Trades as required by Work Assignment.
- Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
