What you’ll do

QA Sales Consultant
The QA Consultant will support the Growth team with prospective customers regarding their ideal QA strategy. This person will serve as an adviser to our organization and our prospect customers on areas including quality assurance best practices for customers, identifying areas of focus and improvements in test coverage, along with providing technical guidance on proper set up for manual execution, automation, and Rainforest QA.

What you’ll do

    • Perform sales discovery on areas of prospect customer application that require QA coverage through prospect customer interviews
    • Run prospect demos to educate them on how to use the Rainforest platform in the most optimal way for their specific QA needs
    • Learn limitations in prospect customer’s current QA set up that could prevent an ideal outcome
    • Analyze current QA coverage through consultative approach
    • Provide recommendations on approach to get QA coverage to the Growthteam and prospect customer
    • Play a key role in determining the product roadmap by distilling insights from prospect interactions and making feature recommendations
    • Brainstorm and implement ways to scale prospect customer interactions to be useful for entire sales pipeline through documentation, and leveraging one to many communication tools

What we’re looking for

    • 3+ years of strategic experience in QA
    • 2+ years experience in enterprise software sales
    • Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps and QA best practices and standard methods
    • Ability to put together QA strategy based on business requirements

Bonus points for

    • 5+ years of strategic experience in QA including QA management
    • Experience in both mobile app and mobile web testing on emulators and real devices
    • Experience in using a variety of test case management tools including TestRails and VSTS
    • Experience in a consulting role in QA
    • Background in customer-facing roles

Extra bonus point for

    • Experience with automation tools(Selenium, Cypress) and use cases for automation versus manual testing.
