Job description
To support the delivery of our Trade & Transport Impact Programme (https://tradewithimpact.com/) in Singapore, we are looking for an experienced program manager. The Trade & Transport Impact program is a startup – corporate engagement program focused on executing pilots and partnerships between highly promising startups and 8 top transport companies. It’s not an accelerator. Startups and corporate partners explore pilot opportunities and engage in a 6 months program to achieve commercial impact
As a program manager, you will be working hand in hand with the Program Director and a Senior Analyst to scope the pain points of our corporate partners, scout for the most relevant startup partner, facilitate the collaboration and lead the program operations (from kick-off to demo days).

Employment start : ASAP (availability in the coming weeks will be preferred)

Responsibilities

    • Structure and perform analysis that address business issues and pain points and generate insights about client and industry performance
    • Develop strategic recommendations on innovation opportunities for our clients using both a top down and bottom up approach
    • Scout for relevant startup partners and be the owner of the relationship with corporates
    • Prepare relevant supporting material for corporates and startups
    • Execute the programme, using agile and iterative sprints, supporting the day-to-day delivery of activities and managing communications with the corporate
    • Lead the organization and the logistics of the program
    • Coordinate the marketing and PR activities related to the event
    • Represent Rainmaking during key events of the program

We’re looking for someone who ticks as many of the following boxes as possible, and the first one is non-negotiable :

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience including project management, operations, analyst, innovation
    • Data collection and analysis experience including interviews, surveys, market reports and analytical modelling
    • Great work ethic and attention to details
    • Autonomy and ability to develop strategy insights and present them clearly and professionally
    • Evidence of an interest in startups through work or side projects
    • A strong academic record and willingness to continue learning
    • Program or project management experience, ensuring that deadlines are met and operations run effectively and efficiently
    • A self-starter, with good communication skills and a structured mindset to approaching problem solving and meeting deadlines
    • Enthusiastic team player that loves working with different types of people in cross-functional teams and who is willing to help people around you to become even better
    • Ability to communicate and present credibly and effectively
    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • General knowledge of the maritime industry or willingness to learn about it
