Co-founded by The University of Texas alumni Brian Murphy & Quentin Cantu, Ranch Rider was conceived in the back of a food truck, and launched officially in January of 2020. On a search for shift drinks that weren’t loaded with sugar or artificial sweeteners, they began mixing and taste-testing beverages with premium spirits, and fresh citrus to share with their friends & customers. The brand has since seen a considerable amount of initial growth and success throughout Texas and is expanding into new markets.

Ranch Rider is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to strategize, own, and execute all growth marketing. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you must be an experienced, data marketing leader to own the growth marketing function. The Director of Growth Marketing will oversee and execute paid acquisition, SEO/ASO, lifecycle marketing, and media buying. Additionally, the Director of Growth Marketing will partner closely with colleagues in Field & Brand marketing so cross-functional collaboration is critical to success in this role.


    • Drive vision and integrated strategy for growth marketing efforts across all touch points, including paid acquisition, SEO, ASO, retargeting, and lifecycle marketing
    • Define and drive from an integrated growth model that acts as the backbone of our strategic approach to both awareness and conversion growth
    • Implement best practices for experimentation frameworks, analysis, and reporting methodology
    • Establish spend models that enable optimal allocation for ecosystem health and ROI positive management of media spend
    • Manage and grow vendor relationships and develop integrated solutions across all performance marketing channels search, social, third-party networks, and programmatic
    • Drive lifecycle marketing efforts across email, SMS, and potential new channels to retain and re-engage users 
    • Drive personalization efforts of lifecycle communications in partnership with Experiential and Brand marketing teams, as well as external agency partners
    • Own cross functional projects in partnership with Experiential and Brand marketing teams, as well as external agency partners to create and implement new experiences that meaningfully drive growth


    • 7-10+ years of B2C CPG experience in a growth role
    • Built and executed with ownership of multimillion dollar budgets and developed models and approaches for investment and measurement
    • Proven ability to drive both top and bottom line results
    • Experience in holistic growth planning - research, forecasting, planning, execution and performance analysis
    • Developed company's core paid channels, as well as all processes, policies and procedures
    • Demonstrated proficiency with multiple channels of paid marketing - SEM, SEO, social, mobile, display, affiliate
    • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation across acquisition and retention
    • Proven ability to coach and grow talent and organizational capabilities
