UX/UI Designer

San Francisco
Ravel is looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer that can bring their creativity and passion to help us advance the design of our groundbreaking legal research platform. An ideal candidate will have a passion for the problems of typography and visualization; interest in the law is a plus. Ravel values bringing a uniquely clean and uncluttered design to legal tools to help litigation researchers and strategists unravel the complexities of U.S. caselaw. The ideal candidate will bring together the execution side of both UX and UI design. They will also bring experience in user research to help us continuously improve the product. They will thrive on seeing the product continually iterate into something our users can’t wait to get their hands on.
Our ideal Lead UX/UI Designer candidate will be able to base their usability decisions on the current business context and know when and how to test their hypotheses, without letting the learning process bog down the speed of development and iteration.
